2What the app is and what it is not

Mileage Log is a tool for keeping records. It records drives and turns them into a report you can export.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your records. The app is not tax, accounting or legal advice, and it does not guarantee that its output will satisfy a tax authority, an employer or anyone else. Check the figures before you hand them over — odometer readings, the purpose of each drive, and that no drive is missing.

Automatic detection depends on GPS reception, on system settings and on your phone's low power mode. A drive may not start or end exactly where it did in reality. That is why the app presents every automatically recorded drive for confirmation and lets you correct it.

3Licence

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store terms.

You may not reverse-engineer, disassemble, modify, rent, sell or redistribute the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

4The free tier

Without a subscription you may use the app indefinitely to this extent:

• one vehicle,
• drive history for the last 7 days,
• automatic recording, fuel, jobs and CarPlay.

Older drives are not deleted — the free tier simply does not display them and leaves them out of exports. They reappear once a subscription is active.

5Subscription, price and renewal

The subscription unlocks unlimited vehicles, the complete drive history, export to PDF and CSV, and a custom PDF header.

• Period: 1 month.
• Price: 49 Kč per month for the Czech Republic. Elsewhere the matching App Store price for your country applies; the exact amount is shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. Apple renews it and takes payment within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment: the amount is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

A price change will not take you by surprise — Apple notifies you and asks for your consent, and without it the subscription does not renew.

6Cancelling and refunds

Cancel in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, at the latest 24 hours before the current period ends. The period you have paid for runs to its end; no pro-rata refund is given.

Apple handles purchases, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no access to payments and cannot refund them ourselves.

You agree that digital content is made available immediately upon purchase and acknowledge that this ends the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

7Your data and backups

Your data stays on your device and in your iCloud — the privacy policy has the detail. We have no access to it, which also means we cannot restore it for you if you lose it.

So look after backups yourself: leave iCloud switched on and export important periods as you go.

8Availability and changes to the app

We develop the app continuously. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn; material changes are announced in the app or in the release notes.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation — it depends on the operating system, on Apple's services and on your device.

9Limitation of liability

The app is provided „as is“. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, or for additional tax assessments, fines or other consequences of incorrectly kept records.

This does not affect your consumer rights under Czech law, nor liability for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

10Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may terminate the licence in the event of a material breach of these terms.

11Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. A new version is published at this address and the version date at the top is changed. Continuing to use the app after a change indicates your agreement with the new version; if you do not agree, cancel the subscription and delete the app.

12Governing law and disputes

This relationship is governed by the law of the Czech Republic and disputes are decided by Czech courts.

If you are a consumer, you may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority as the body for out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes (adr.coi.cz).
